May 29 (Reuters) - Democratic U.S. Senator Charles Schumer said on Wednesday he was "carefully examining" conditions that were placed on a deal between SoftBank Corp and Sprint in order to win approval from U.S. national security officials.
Last week Schumer wrote to regulators expressing concerns that a Sprint-SoftBank combination might create vulnerabilities in sensitive telecommunications networks.
