NY may suspend Standard Chartered over Iran dealings Aug 6th 2012, 16:07 Mon Aug 6, 2012 12:07pm EDT Aug 6 (Reuters) - A Standard Chartered Plc banking unit conducted more than $250 billion of transactions with Iran-related entities in violation of U.S. anti-money laundering laws and may lose its license to operate in New York State, a state banking regulator said on Monday.
